Outside Sales Representative

The outside sales representative will be able to successfully follow a defined sales process, have a strong understanding of the consultative sales process, have great communication skills, and excel at closing deals. It’s essential that our sales reps be confident, personable and professional, and our ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our solutions in a compelling way.

 

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for consulting with home and business owners, diagnosing the issues they are experiencing with their home or property, educating customers about our solutions, and presenting the best solutions & best company to fix their problem. Construction and landscaping experience and/or knowledge is a plus.

Objectives and Responsibilities of This Role

  • Meet with customers at their home or business as scheduled by our Customer Care Department and discuss project needs and solutions in detail, including site measuring
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Prepare project design proposals and cost estimates for properties based on accurate field verifications, measurements, and analyses for foundation repair and concrete repair
  • Follow-up on all lost sales to close or identify reasons for not closing
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of defined a sales process and procedures
  • Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: meeting with customers at their property, performing thorough evaluations of customers’ needs, preparing project solutions, responding to phone calls and emails, following up with customers
  • Attend weekly sales department meetings and trainings

Qualifications For This Role

  • 1+ years experience in outside sales, experience in the construction, home improvement or landscaping field is a plus
  • Being able to, and comfortable with, entering a crawl space underneath a house
  • Be comfortable and confident with a 100% commission-based salary upon completion of training
  • Demonstrated knowledge of selling techniques (successfully following a defined sales process, overcoming objections, closing sales, etc.)
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Personal integrity, transparency and honesty
  • Ability to walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
  • Punctuality and dependability
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
